CryoProbe™ in Fort Worth, TX

If you are a resident of Arlington, Fort Worth, or a surrounding community in Texas and would like to get rid of unsightly skin lesions with minimal time and discomfort, Accent On You Cosmetic Surgery Center can help. Dr. Y. Anthony Nakamura, a board-certified plastic surgeon and recognized expert in plastic surgery and body contouring, combines the CryoProbe™ noninvasive treatment with unparalleled artistry for a clear, fresh appearance.

What Is CryoProbe™?

CryoProbe™ is a safe, innovative tool used in topical cryotherapy (also known as cryosurgery) that addresses certain types of benign skin lesions. Using liquefied nitrous oxide, the CryoProbe™ permits controlled destruction of unwanted tissue. The extreme cold eradicates the entire skin lesion, leaving the surrounding healthy tissue intact.

CryoProbe™ is FDA-approved to treat the following conditions:

  • Plantar Warts
  • Viral Verrucae (Warts)
  • Skin Tags
  • Age Spots
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Keratoses
  • Fibromas
  • Lentigos
  • Dermatofibroma
  • Molluscum Contagiosum
  • Sebaceous Hyperplasia
  • Permanent make-up correction
  • And much, much more!

A consultation is required for CryoProbe™ treatment.

Benefits of CryoProbe™

Since CryoProbe™ is non-surgical and non-invasive, the treatment works quickly and accurately with minimal discomfort and trauma. The precise nature of CryoProbe™ makes it ideal for treating the tiniest lesions, even those in the eye area. Afterward, your skin lesion will be greatly reduced or even eliminated entirely, giving you a healthy, rejuvenated appearance.

How Is CryoProbe™ Performed?

The CryoProbe™ applicator sprays cold, liquefied nitrous oxide right on the abnormal tissue; the adjacent healthy tissue remains untouched. The extremely cold temperature destroys the skin lesion. In most cases, the lesion will be allowed to warm up; then the freezing cycle will repeat. Depending on the extent of your skin lesion, additional freezing cycles or treatment sessions may be recommended.

Preparing for CryoProbe™

Very little preparation is necessary. If you are sensitive to pain or discomfort, consider taking two ibuprofen tablets (such as Advil) 30 minutes before the start of your procedure.

CryoProbe™ Recovery

Most patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately afterward. The treatment area might feel sore for a day or two afterward; over-the-counter painkillers can help with any discomfort.

How Much Does CryoProbe™ Cost?

The cost of your CryoProbe™ treatment will vary according to your needs and desires. At Accent On You, we accept all major credit cards. We also offer financing through CareCredit® and Medical Financing Solutions.

Is CryoProbe™ Right for Me?

CryoProbe™ works very well for individuals who would like to get rid of skin lesions of any size. Since the procedure is non-invasive, nearly anybody can undergo CryoProbe™ treatment.
